15 min Consultation Call:
Before scheduling a full evaluation, we offer a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation. This allows both you and the provider to determine whether BrainBody is the right fit for your needs and goals. We’ll briefly discuss what brings you in, what you’re hoping to achieve, and what our process looks like so you can make an informed decision about next steps.
Comprehensive Initial Treatment Plan:
During our first meeting, we set the foundation of your personalized treatment plan. Together, we gather and review your full psychiatric, medical, and social history, current symptoms, and treatment goals. We also incorporate input from therapists or other members of your care team (with your consent).
By the end of this process, you’ll have a comprehensive treatment plan that outlines next steps — which may include medication, TMS, therapy coordination, and lifestyle strategies such as sleep, stress, and nutrition support. The focus is on creating a clear, collaborative roadmap for long-term healing and wellness.
Follow Up Meeting:
These visits combine medication management with supportive or skills-based psychotherapy to guide your ongoing progress. We review your current medications, make changes as needed, and adjust your treatment plan based on your response and comfort level. Early in treatment, we typically meet every 2–4 weeks to ensure close monitoring and support during medication adjustments. Sessions focus on building insight, strengthening coping skills, and maintaining therapeutic momentum between therapy visits.
Family Support Sessions; with or without Patient:
Structured sessions that help families understand the patient’s treatment plan, communication strategies, and support needs. These meetings often address family dynamics, education about the diagnosis, and how to best assist with ongoing care and recovery.
TMS Treatment
TMS is a safe, noninvasive treatment option for depression, anxious depression and OCD. TMS uses gentle magnetic pulses to stimulate specific areas of the brain involved in mood regulation. At BrainBody, TMS may be recommended as part of a personalized treatment plan for clients receiving medication management within our practice, or for individuals referred by outside providers who wish to continue working with their existing treatment team.
TMS is not a one-size-fits-all approach. TMS is not right for everyone, this treatment is best suited for specific clinical needs and goals. Each patient begins with a thorough evaluation to determine if TMS is an appropriate option.
Those referred from outside practices are welcome, and we strive to maintain open communication with your current provider to ensure coordinated, integrated care throughout your TMS course.
